Of Brown Deer. Passed away Sat. Dec. 14, 1974. Aged 60 years. Beloved husband of Amanda Nierode (Nee Twachtmann). Dear father of Carol (Ship) Wiedmeyer of West Bend; Sharon (Gary) Elleson of Cedarburg; William Nierode; Michelle and the late Charles Nierode. Son of Carl and Eliza Nierode of Shorewood. Brother of twin Lilliam (Walter) Schachel of Port Washington; Erna (Edward) Schmidt of Shorewood; Myrtle (Alfred) Rieter of Port Washington; Esther (Elmer) Hoffmann of Oconomowoc, Armin (Shirley) Nierode of Oconomowoc, and James Nierode of Port Washington. Further survived by 5 grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Funeral services Wed. Dec. 18, at 10 A.M. at the Zwaska Funeral Home, 4900 W. Bradley Road,. The Rev. James J. Reichmann officiating. Interment St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Grafton, Wis.

Mr. Carl W. Nierode was an employee of Badger Meter and a member of A.I.M. Machinists Union, Lodge No. 66.
