Yungck
Mrs Emily Yungck, 77, died Saturday at 11:40 p.m. in St Joseph's Hospital where she had been taken earlier in the day following a fall at her home, 1025 George St., in which she suffered hip and wrist fractures.
Mrs Yungck, the former Emily Dettmers, was born July 25, 1890 in Alton. Her parents were the late Mr and Mrs John Dettmers.
She had been married twice and both husbands preceded her in death. Her first husband, Pearl Gustine, died in 1912, and her second husband, Harry Yungck, died in 1941.
Mrs. Yungck was a member of United Church of Christ, Evangelical, and Royal Neighbors Lodge.
A son, Harry Gustine, Alton, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren survive.
The Rev Charles Stevens, pastor of United Church of Christ, Evangelical, will officiate at services Tuesday at 1 p m in Gent Chapel. Burial will be in Upper Alton Cemetery.
Friends may call after 6 p m today at the funeral home.
