Walter J. Lauber, 49, a former Victoria resident, died June 22 in Pineville, La., the victim of an apparent heart attack. Funeral services were June 24 in Pineville with burial in the Alexandria National Cemetery.
He was born April 15, 1928. He was employed by Central Louisiana Electric Co., Pineville.
Surviving his wife, Violet, Pineville; two brothers, Donald Lauber, Victoria, and Wilfred Lauber, Great Bend; and a sister, Mrs. Rita Wasinger, Hays.
