GERMAN RESIDENT IS DEAD
Gottlieb Krumrey Passes Away At His Home On North Street Last Night At 10:00 O'clock

Gottlieb Krumrey, one of the best known of our German citizens, died at his home, 111 North Street, last night at 10:00 o'clock and will be buried from the Lutheran church Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. Deceased is survived by seven children, fifty-five grand children, and twenty-five great grand children. Gottfried Krumrey was the father of thirteen children, six of whom are dead. His wife died some four years ago.

Gottlieb Krumrey was born near the city of Flatow, Germany, in 1822, and came to the United States in 1871, settling first in Wisconsin and in 1873 coming to St. Charles township in this county, where he resided until 1896 when he retired from farming and moved to this city. Deceased has always been a member of the Lutheran church and the service will be in charge of Rev. E. H. Caselmann, pastor of that church in this city, and interment will be at Riverside.
