Louis Gehlhausen, who was injured in an automobile accident near Jasper on Wednesday night of last week, died in the Daviess County Hospital at Washington Monday afternoon. Gehlhausen's arm was crushed and later amputated. Blood poisoning which set in caused his death. Two of his sons, Clarence and Victor, who were also seriously injured in the accident, are still in the hospital. Mr. Gehlhausen operated "Slim's Place," a roadhouse near Huntingburg.

Married - Rose Stetter of Huntingburg, Ind. born 31 January 1905 died 10 June 1978.
After the death of Louis Gehlhausen, Rose Pauline Stetter Gehlhausen married again on 28 August 1938 to Harry (Bessie)Dupps born 1 September 1903 died 19 April 1985.
