Carol Raymond Gibson , age 79, passed away December 18, 2008 at his home in Oklahoma City. He was born October 2, 1929, the son of Sherman Henry Gibson and Marie Cornealius Gibson of OKC, OK. Carol attended Central High School in Oklahoma City. He had an extensive career history that included working in the Yellow Freight Lines, being a member of the Nichols Hills Police Department, Graves Freight Lines and finally Kerr-McGee. He was preceded in death by his parents. Carol is survived by his wife Helen Gibson daughters Carolyn O. Elliott and her husband, C. David Elliott, and Kathryn M. Garrity grandsons Shaun P. and Kris P. Garrity great grandson Gavin Ray Garrity three brothers, Gene, CB, and Cecil Gibson brother-in-law Bob Stamper and sister-in-law Frances Stamper and his best friend Dick Montgomery. A Memorial Service will be Tue., Dec. 23, 2008 at 2pm at Chapel Hill Funeral Home Chapel.
