DIXON - Dorothy Baumann, 82, of Dixon died Friday, Dec. 26, 2008, after a prolonged illness. Surviving are three daughters, Carol Baumann of Dubuque, Iowa, Cynthia (W. Mark) Anderson of Rochester and Ruth (Timothy) Lewis of Springfield, Ohio; two grandchildren, Allison Anderson and Jeffrey Anderson; a sister, Marion (Richard) Burton of Walworth, Wis.; and a brother, William Guetschow of Glenview.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Sterling, with Intern Eder Weber officiating. Burial will be at Mount Auburn Cemetery in Harvard at a later date. Visitation will be held Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
Arrangements were completed by Schilling Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lutheran Social Services of Illinois or ELCA World Hunger Appeal.
