Mrs. Mary Gertrude Moorman, 73, 2610 John St., died at 4 p.m. Thursday at the Grace Hospital after a four year illness. Mrs. Moorman was born at Sharpsburg, O., and came here in 1919. Her husband, Bernard, died in 1922.
She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church and the Rosary society. Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Clara Obringer, New Bremen, O., Mrs. Agnes Moeder, St. Henry, O., Mrs. Bertha Mattres, Mrs. Stella Fagan and Mrs. Alma Krider, Fort Wayne, and Sister Mary Luetta of the St. Agnes Order, Fon du Lac, Wis.; a son Reuben Moorman, Dayton, O.; a brother, Joseph Timmerman, Sharpsburg, O.; a sister, Mrs. Henry Landwehr, Denver, Colo., and 24 grandchildren. The body was removed to the Tom Mungovan funeral Home where friends may call after 7 p.m. today.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 9 a.m. at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Clara Obringer, New Bremen, o., and at 10 a.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Sharpsburg, O., and the Rev. Ira Well officiating, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call at
the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
