George S. Robison, 50, of Indianapolis, a former Richland Township resident, died at 10:55 a.m. Sunday in Community Hospital shortly after admittance.
Mr. Robison, whose home was at 3222-1/2 East Michigan, had been ill briefly with pneumonia.
A resident of Indianapolis for several years, Mr. Robison was employed in the RCA plant there.
He was born in Madison on Dec. 10, 1915, the son of George W. and Sallie Robinson Robison, and spent his early life in Richland Township. Mr. Robison was graduated from New Salem High School in 1935.
During World War II he served in the US Navy, being stationed on an aircraft carrier with service in both the Atlantic and Pacific theaters.
Survivors include his parents, George W. Robison of Indianapolis and Mrs. Edgar (Sallie) Ryckman of Rushville; two sons, Michael J. and Gary O. Robison, both of Indianapolis; a sister, Mrs. Maurice (Helen) Hedrick near Richland, and a grandmother, Mrs. Christine Briddle of North Vernon. A sister and a half-sister preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at Moster & Sons Mortuary at 10 a.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Howard Jacquess officiating and burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery, south of Neff's Corner. Friends may call at the mortuary after 4 p.m. Tuesday.
