FRANK WIESEMANN - CHESTERTON -- Services for Frank A Wiesemann, 87, of 406 Park, Chesterton, who died Saturday afternoon in Porter Memorial hospital after a lingering illness, will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in St. Patrick's Catholic church.
A retired carpenter, he was a member of St. Patrick's church and the Holy Name society of the church. He was an honorary life member of the Valparaiso Knight of Columbus.
Born in Burdick on Nov. 29, 1870, he was the son of Pete and Rebecca (Strasburg) Wiesemann. He married Mary Ann Ameling in St. Patrick's church June 17, 1892.
Surviving are his widow; five sons, Bernard and Richard of Chesterton; Lawrence and Charles of Michigan City, and Edward of Indianapolis; two daughters, Mrs. Henry Nuest of Kouts, and Miss Elizabeth Wiesemann of Chesterton; 16 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; two brothers, Tom and Charles of Chesterton.
The Rev. Ralph Hoffman will officiate at services. Rosary will be recited by the Holy Name society at 7:30p.m., today at White Funeral home, where friends may call from this afternoon.
Burial will be in St. Patrick's cemetery.
