Born May 25, 1918, in Louisville, Ky., she was the daughter of Michael John III and Carrie Theresa Wessel Linnig.
She was a graduate of Shawnee High School in Louisville, Ky.
She married Bernard A. Crimmins Feb. 7, 1948, in Louisville. He had been the head football coach at Indiana University and assistant coach at the University of Notre Dame and Purdue University.
She had worked for Joseph E. Seagram in New York City, Frankfort Distillers in Louisville and L.S. Ayres & Co. in Lafayette.
She was a member of the St. Bartholomew Catholic Parish in Columbus, the Blessed Sacrament Church in West Lafayette, the St. Elizabeth Hospital Auxiliary in Lafayette, the John Purdue Club and the Notre Dame Sorin Society.
Survivors include six children, Michael D. (Helen) of Lewisville, Texas, Patrick K. (Ali) of Columbus, Bernard A. Jr. of Hollywood, Fla., Marilyn C. (Jefrey) Benkelman of North Palm Beach, Fla., Maureen M. Marzano of Kohler, Wis.; Mari Coleen (Doug) Foster of Bonita Springs, Fla.; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Mel Fox, Marjorie Finn, Carolyn O'Rourke and Marianne Hoffman.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and three brothers, William Linnig, Leonard Linnig and Earl Linnig.
Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Bartholomew's Catholic Church in Columbus with Father Todd Goodson officiating. Entombment will be at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum in Louisville.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to the start of the mass at the church.
Hathaway-Myers Chapel on Pearl Street in Columbus is in charge of arrangements.
