William and his wife Mary Reuter with their three daughters and 2 sons landed in NE City in 1864. They were natives of Luxembourg and later staked a claim in the Table Rock precinct in section 16. Five more children were born to this union. Their 2 youngest sons, William and Joseph, became co owners of the homestead. william, later, sold his interest to Joseph.
