Death Comes To Mrs. Joe Miller
Mrs. Joe Miller Dies At Humboldt Hospital On Saturday at age 86.

Rose Theresa Bernadt, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Bernadt of Steinauer, was born April 4, 1871, and departed this life, January 18, 1958, at the age of 86 years, 9 months and 14 days.

On April 30, 18895, she was united in marriage to Joseph Miller of Table Rock in St. Anthony's Church at Steinauer, with Rev. Raemer officiating.

She and her husband established their home northeast of Table Rock and lived in that vicinity all their married life together.

To this union were born three children- Mrs. Anna Hunt of Dalhart, Texas; Albert of Table Rock; and Mrs. Theresa Gyhra of Steinauer. Other survivors are her husband; one brother, Joseph Bernadt of Steinauer; nine living grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Three half-brothers and two half-sisters, three sisters, and one brother preceded her in death.

Final rites were held at the St. John's Church in Table Rock on Monday, January 20, where she has been a faithful member, attending until illness prevented it. Father Gregory Petrus offered the High Mass. She was laid to rest in St. John's Catholic cemetery.

Pallbearers included Gordon Clement, David Welch, Lester Long, Joseph Emmett and Eugene Gyhra.

Relatives attending from a distance were Mrs. Anna Hunt, Dalhart, Texas; Lester Long, Holton, Mo.; Mr. and Mrs. David Welch of Kansas City, Ks.; Lawrence Bernadt, Omaha; Mrs. Edna Brouhard, Lawrence, Ks.; Mr. and Mrs. John McGreevy,Sr., Seneca, Ks.; and Mr. and Mrs. John McGreevy,Jr. of Seneca, Ks.
