Harry Boyd McGinnis, 58, of Dumas, a farmer, died Monday at Delta Memorial Hospital here of natural causes.
Born August 20, 1928, in Osceola, he was a son of Harry and Audrey Crews McGinnis.
He was a deacon at First Baptist Church here.
McGinnis was a lay minister for the state Correction Department at the Cummins Unit.
He was a member of the Dumas Chamber of Commerce and he had served as president of Turner Neal Hunting Club here.
Survivors include two sons, Danny McGinnis and Kevin McGinnis of Dumas; three brothers, Robert McGinnis of Jonesboro, Harold McGinnis of West Memphis and Aubrey McGinnis of Hermitage; two sisters, Dorothy McGinnis of Houston and Marjorie Wiley of New Braunfels, Texas; and two grandchildren.
Burial in Walnut Lake Cemetery.
