Anne M. Baranowski, 93, of Natrona Heights, passed away Friday, Dec. 5, 2008, in the Belair Health and Rehabilitation Center, Lower Burrell.

She was born Sept. 19, 1915, in Harrison Township, the daughter of the late Peter and Mary Dubnicay Baranowski.

Anne worked as a secretary for the former Leechburg Mining Company, Alcoa in New Kensington, retiring in 1978, and the Law Office of Signorella and Strellec, retiring in 1988. Anne was a member of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church, in Natrona Heights, and enjoyed reading, antiques and traveling.

She is survived by her nephew, Peter James Jack; great-niece, Nicole Frederick; and also survived by many loving cousins and friends.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Theresa Baranowski Jack; and by her niece, Mary Jack Schrantz.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Monday in the CICHOLSKI-ZIDEK FUNERAL HOME, Natrona Heights, where a blessing service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. in Most Blessed Sacrament Church with her pastor, the Rev. Thomas Wagner, as celebrant.

Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
