He was married to Catherine Grollmes in 1894. To this union were born six children: Emma, who is Mrs. Joe Lueb, Delbert and Vincent of Colorado Springs, Edwin of Pittsburg, Elmer, who died a few years ago, and a baby who died in infancy.
His surviving brothers and sisters are Henry of Colorado Springs, Barney of Kelly, Mrs. K. M. Schneider of Seneca, and Will of Wetmore. John, Joe, Frankie and Mrs. Frank Sears are deceased.
Services for Mr. Winkler will be in Colorado Springs this Thursday morning. Due to severity of the weather Mrs. Schneider, Seneca, did not believe she would be able to attend.
