Bobby "Bob" Kelley, 73, passed away Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013, in Fort Worth.
Funeral: 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013, at Wiley Funeral Home. Burial: Holly Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials: Triple Cross Cowboy Church or Hood County Senior Center.
Bob was born Mar. 5, 1940, in Hemphill, Texas, to Oscar L. Kelley and Jewell L. Chance Kelley. He married Monika B. Depta, Aug. 10, 1979, in Copenhagen, Denmark. He had lived in Granbury since 1997 and was a member of Triple Cross Cowboy Church. Bob retired from the U.S. Army afer 22 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Bob was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and the hospital auxillary. He loved to play bingo with the 60's and Older Club. He really enjoyed people. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and 10 brothers and sisters.
Survivors: Loving wife, Monika Kelley of Granbury; sons, Holger Kelley and wife, Autumn, and daughter, Ursula, of Weatherford; Bobby Kelley and wife, Jessica, and daughter, Darian, of Granbury; Danny Kelley and family of Bakersfield, Calif., William Kelley and family of Bakersfield, Calif.; daughters, Jeannette Mata and husband, Ron, and family, Jutta Portillo and family, all of Bakersfield, Calif.; brother, Edwin Kelley and wife, Beverly, of Longview; twin sister, Nancy Womack of Bronson, Texas; numerous great grandchildren and extended family.
