Hi, He is a "Jr" ... His birth date was July 31, 1922 and he was born in Maryland. His date of death was November 18, 1944. Here is a short bio for him if you'd like to cut and paste it into his bio section:

Walter served as a 2nd Lt., 430th Fighter Squadron, 474th Fighter Group, U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.

He resided in Baltimore, Maryland prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army Air Corps on February 1, 1943 in Panama City, Florida. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being Single, without dependents.

Walter was "Killed In Action" during the war and was awarded the Purple Heart.

Service # O-710080

He was interred here on 12/10/1951, Permit # 33261.
