JOSEPH SEILER

Joseph Seiler, 74 years old, died Saturday at his home south of Lutesville. He had been in failing health the past few months, suffering from a heart ailment. He passed away in his sleep. The body was taken from Baker Funeral Home back to the family home Saturday afternoon. Funeral services were conducted Monday morning at St. John's Catholic Parish Cemetery at Leopold. Mr. Seiler was a native of this county, born and reared near Lutesville. He spent all of his life here with the exception of four years spent in St. Louis shortly after his marriage to Miss Annie Thele of Laflin. He is survived by the widow; nine daughters, Mrs. Robert Holzum and Mrs. John Terbrock of Overland; Mrs. Gilbert Brine, Mrs. Edward Curtis, Mrs. Vincent Renauld, Miss Margaret Seiler and Sister M. Joseph Ann of St. Louis; Mrs. Elmer Rosner of Florissant and Mrs. Ben Vandeven of Glennon; four sons, August and Carl Seiler of St. Louis and Martin and Elmer Seiler of Lutesville and thirty-two grandchildren.
