John Tonjes Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from St. Paul Lutheran church for John Tonjes, 89, of Scribner, who died Monday afternoon at a West Point hospital. Since the death of his wife, the former Catherine Stover, in 1937, the aged gentleman had made his home with his son, George, and family. Rev. Hugo Welchert will conduct the funeral rites.hhw
