Mrs. Cobb was born on July 4, 1920 in Ottumwa, Iowa to her parents, Jake S. and Rosie (Avery) Hellinger and went to be with the Lord, Sunday May 30, 1999 at the Muskogee Regional Medical Center. On July 19, 1939, she married Joe Ben Cobb. Together they owned and operated Cobb's Tile and Carpet Service for 36 years in Wagoner.
Mrs. Cobb was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Ben Cobb, in January 1986, a grandson, Ronald Wayne Cagle, her parents, one sister, Kathryn Wiley and Four brothers; Andy, Jesse, Russell and Jake Hellinger. She is survived by her son, James G. Cobb and his wife, Becky, of Quail Valley, California, four daughters; Mary L. Trueblood, of the home, Martha and her husband, Ray Gadberry of Houston, Texas, Wanda and her husband, Ron Cagle, of Muskogee, and Donna and her husband, Ron Lewis, of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; 18 grandchildren, 32 Great Grand children, 3 great-great grandchildren, a brother, Paul Hellinger, of Coeur d' Alene, Idaho, a sister, Rosie Payton of Iron Station, North Carolina, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, many other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were her grandson; Stephen Trueblood, Kevin Cobb, Phil Cobb, Tommy Jones, Dennis Cobb and Josh Trueblood. Funeral arrangements and interment in Pioneer Cemetery in Wagoner were under the direction of Mallett Funeral Home of Wagoner.
