HENRY L. STEINNERD
Funeral services were held Monday at St. John's Catholic Church in Leopold for Henry L. Steinnerd, 83 year old retired farmer of Leopold, who died Friday in a hospital in Cape Girardeau. Burial was in the church cemetery. Parish rosary was recited Sunday at the Baker Funeral Home in Lutesville. Mr. Steinnerd, a son of the late Mr. And Mrs. John Steinnerd was born October 2, 1887, at Leopold. On November 15, 1910, he married Miss Cornelia VanDoren, who preceded him in death on August 19, 1968. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church of Leopold. He is survived by seven daughters: Mrs. Margaret Elfrink and Mrs. Loretta Arnzen both of Jackson, Mrs. Genevieve Elfrink of Bridgeton, Mrs. Winefrieda Beck of St. Louis, Mrs. Ursula Nenninger of Leopold, Mrs. Eula VanGennip of Lutesville and Monica Steinnerd at home, a brother, Joseph Steinnerd of Leopold; two sisters, Mrs. Bernard Hotze and Mrs. August Nenninger both of Leopold, 26 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
