Peter M. Bard
Peter M. Bard, merchant and fotel proprietor at Oregon, this county, died of heart trouble at his home early Monday morning, aged 43 years. He had been ailing for some time. He was a member of the Lutheran church at Rothsville. He is survived by his wife, Annie, nee Miller, and the following children: Hunter M. Bard of Lancaster; Miller M., Dorothy M., and Walter M., all at home; one grandchild, Eugene Bard, his father, Wilson Bard of Ephrata, one brother, Mohler M. Bard, of Lancaster, and three half sisters, Lillie, wife of Wayne Brubaker of Akron; Lottie, wife of Lestr McVey, Ephrata; Ruth, wife of Clyde Long of East Petersburg. The funeral was held at Oregon this morning and at the Lutheran Church, Rothsville. Interment was made in the adjoining cemetery.
