Nicole Sue "Nicky" Batt, 31, of Bowling Green, formerly of Defiance, died Monday, April 2, as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident which occurred Sunday morning in Henry County.
She was born Nov. 19, 1975, in Paulding, the daughter of Jim and Bonnie (Strable) Batt, who survive in rural Oakwood.
She was a 1994 graduate of Paulding High school and a student at Bowling Green State University. She was to graduate May 5 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics. She had worked multiple internships in Dietetics. She was former manager of Cashland and had worked in food service for 13 years.
She is also survived by a sister, Belinda (Kent) Laney of Defiance; a brother, J.J. Batt of Oakwood; two nieces and a nephew.
Services were held Friday, April 6, at the St. Mary's Catholic Church, Junction, Paulding County, with Father John Stites officiating.
Interment was in the Sherman Cemetery, Paulding County.
Lawson Roessner Funeral Home in Defiance was in charge of the arrangements.
Preferred memorials are to the donor's choice.
