Thelma Louise Kreeger, 94, of Memphis, Missouri, passed away August 20, 2006 at the Scotland County Memorial Hospital in Memphis, MO.

She was born June 15, 1912 in Virginia, MN, to Charles W. and Bertha Margaret Harmon.

She graduated from high school in Dundee, IL. She was a member of the First Christian Church. She also attended school in Moberly, MO, graduating as a Licensed Practical Nurse and practiced nursing for many years.

She married Charles Kreeger on June 18, 1930 in Dundee, IL, and to this union five children were born. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1981.

She enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting and raising flowers and green plants.

She is survived by three sons; Richard Kreeger and his wife, Georgene, of Cook, MN; Dennis Kreeger and his wife, Mary, of Littleton, CO; Kenneth Kreeger and his wife, Sue, of Las Vegas, NV; a daughter-in-law, Pam Kreeger, of Waukegan, IL; fifteen grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and a very special friend, Ann Muntz of Memphis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Sharon James, a son; James Kreeger; two sisters; Ann Hanson and Elva Hoskins and a brother, Charles Harmon.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, August 27, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at the Memphis Funeral Home with Brother Jack Sumption officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Kreeger, Dennis Kreeger, Kenneth Kreeger and Robert Courtright. Visitation, with the family present, will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place in the Algonquin Cemetery in Algonquin, IL, at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Memphis First Christian Church or to the Scotland County Nutrition Center.
