Greenview, April 11 - William Tholen, 69, was found dead about noon Monday by his grandson, Herman, in the basement of his home where he apparently had hanged himself. He had been in poor health the last two years.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Hermina Bochman [sic], and a son, Rudolph, both of Greenview; three brothers, Harmon, of Greenview; John and Gerhard, both of Germany.
Funeral services were held at the residence and at the Evangelical and Reformed church.
Burial was in Sugar Grove cemetery.
