His death certificate states he died February 27, 1944

Ben M. Gregory, 74, native of Robertson County and a farmer in that county for many years, died yesterday at his home, 678 Weakley Avenue, following more than year's Illness.

Funeral services will be conducted at his home this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and burial will be in Hall Town Cemetery In Sumner County.

Mr. Gregory had been a resident of Nashville for the last six years. He was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Fannie Gregory; seven sons, W. O. Gregory, Portland, Alvln and Clarence Gregory of Franklin, Ky., Ewlng, Robert and Raymond Gregory of Milldale and Herbert Gregory of Greenbrier; three daughters, Myrtle Stanley, Portland, Mrs. Willie Honeycutt of near Goodlettsville and Mrs. Jimmie Bush of Nashville.
