BUCKMAN -- Christine Mary Gall, 85, Buckman, died Thursday, Dec. 26, 2002, at the Pierz Villa in Pierz.

She was born March 21, 1917, in Pierz Township to Theodore and Anna (Marshik) Otremba. She married John Baptist Gall on Sept. 11, 1940. They farmed in the Buckman area all their lives. She was a resident of Harmony House and the Pierz Villa for the past four years. She was a gold member of Christian Mothers, a 50-year member of Catholic Aid and a member of Crosier Apostacate, a member of the TEC family.

Survivors include nine sons, Marvin, Dennis, Alvin, Donnie, Leon, David, Marne and Gordie Gall, all of Pierz, and Jerry Gall, Foley; four daughters, Doris Hilfer, Little Falls, Diane Thommes, North Pole, Alaska, Jeanne Thommes, Royalton, and Yvonne Herold, Prior Lake; 45 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and nine stepgreat-grandchildren.

Her husband; a son, Ralph Gall; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Herman Otremba; and a sister, Cecelia Geiger, died earlier.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Buckman with Father Gerald Dalseth officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael's Parish Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. today, with Christian Mothers and St. Michael's Society praying the rosary at 4:30 p.m., parish prayers at 7 p.m. and Knights of Columbus Office of the Dead at 8 p.m., at Brenny Funeral Home in Pierz, and from 9 a.m. until services Monday at the church.
