Wayne Montgomery, 94, of Arbyrd, Mo., died Thursday, April 2, 2009, at the Heritage Gardens of Senath.
Born April 11, 1914, in Hornersville, he was the of the late Charles Edward and Viola Amanda Zumwalt Montgomery.

On Oct. 20, 1934, in Paragould, Ark., he married Flossie Metcalf.

Survivors include one daughter, Roberta Morris and husband, Dr. John Morris, of Union, Mo.; one brother, Paul Montgomery, of Hornersville; three sisters, Pearl Gifford, of Senath, Irene Matthews, of Fredericktown, Mo., and Mary Jo Easley, of West Plains, Mo.; two grandchildren, Amanda Jane Morris-Perry and husband, David, of Linn, Mo., and Montgomery Wayne Morris, of Washington, Mo., and other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Warren G. Montgomery and two sisters, Peggy Layden and Minnie Latinnie.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Friday, April 3, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Senath.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 4, at the Coldwater United Methodist Church with Rev. Bob McNabb officiating.

Burial will follow in the Horner Cemetery.
