MUENSTER - Mildred Irene Yosten, 69, a homemaker, died Sunday, Oct. 12, 1997, at a Denton hospital.
Funeral Mass: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Church. Burial: Sacred Heart Cemetery. Rosary: 4 p.m. Tuesday at McCoy Funeral Home in Muenster, Texas. Vigil: 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers: Chuck Koesler, John Yosten, Leroy Yosten, Kevin Yosten, Steve Fisch and Cyril Yosten.
Mildred Irene Yosten was born Feb. 29, 1928, in Muenster.
Survivors: Husband, Henry W. Yosten; daughters, Kathy Bonner, Janette Hess and Carol Ann Vogel; sons, Henry F. Yosten, Melvin Yosten and Doug Yosten; sisters, Frances Yosten, Evelyn Koesler and Henrietta Fisch; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Mildred's grandfather, Joseph B. Wiesmann (last name later Anglicized to only one "n") helped settle the new town of Muenster, Texas. Joseph B. Wiesmann was present for Muenster's very first Catholic Mass, considered to be the birth date of the town, on December 08, 1889.
