Hazel Guest Gaines, 85, formerly of 552 Lohsl Lane, died at 12:30 a.m. July 15, 1995, in Milner Health Care Center, Rossville, where she had lived since May 1994.

Mrs. Gaines had worked for the former Reed's Hatchery and Del Monte Corp. She was a member of Colfax Christian Church and American Legion Auxiliary.

She was born August 22, 1909, in Casey, Illinois, to Francis Marion and Naomi Wise Simpson Galey. She married Fred Guest in 1927 and he died in 1950. She married William C. Gaines on November 10, 1950, and he died in 1960.

Surviving are three sons, Gary Neal Guest of North Highlands, California, Jack N. Guest of Frankfort, and Hollace Kent Guest of Windsor, California; a sister, Ruby Myers of Frankfort; 15 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Three sons and nine siblings preceded her in death.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Goodwin Funeral Home with the Rev. John Abbott officiating.

Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery.
