Grace Bray, a lifelong San Benito County resident, died April 17 at Mee Memorial Hospital in King City. Mrs. Bray was born and reared in the Bitterwater area and was the daughter of the late Nessen and Mary Schmidt. The funeral at 2 p.m. Friday will be held under the direction of Whitehurst-Grimm Funeral Home, 429 Bassett St., King City. Mrs. Bray is survived by sons Albert and Alvin and daughter Mary Anne. She also is survived by brothers Roy Schmidt of Hollister, Jef Schmidt of Bitterwater, sisters Faye Franscioni of Greenfield and Amy Lou Hall of Oklahoma. She also is survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the Mee Memorial Hospital or to your favorite charity.
