A lingering illness resulted in the death of Mrs. Catherine Preisser, 64, yesterday afternoon at 5 o’clock in her home in West Tenth Avenue. Mrs. Preisser who was a well-known resident of the West End, was born in Germany November 2, 1874 and was a member of St. Peter’s R.C. Church. Her husband, Otto died a number of years ago. She leaves the following children; Mrs. Sanford Goetz, of Second Avenue; Mrs. Warren Woods, and Mrs. William Leighton, of Massillon, O.; Frank and Otto, of New Kensington; Mrs. Andrew Kenjor, Creighton; Mrs. Edward Killen, and Charles and George, at home. One brother, Frank Lieble, of Glassport; one sister, Mrs. Schwartz, of Pittsburgh; one half-sister, Mrs. Teressa Mildner, of Tarentum. Requiem high mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 9 a.m. in St. Peter’s R.C. Church. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart cemetery.
