John Robert Mosler 78 years old. John was born July 10, 1924, in Los Angeles and passed away October 16, 2002, in Big Bear Lake where he was a resident for 30 years. John was a Veteran of Work War II serving with the U.S. Coast Guard on the U.S.S. Hunter Liggett. John was active in the Big Bear Senior Center. He was a Real Estate Agent for Red Carpet Realty in Big Bear Lake for many years. He was also employed by Van De Kamp for many years. John retired from Bourns in 1988. John is survived by his loving family, Wife, Frances Marie Mosler of Big Bear Lake; Son, John Thomas Mosler of Big Bear Lake; Daughters – Deborrah Klein of Glendora, Maureen Hehr of Sacramento, Teana Papalas of Ranch Cucamonga, Mary Ellen St Amour of Virginia, and Eileen Prieur of Rancho Cucamonga; Step – Sons, Harold Kaler of Rosemond, and Bobby Kaler of Temecula; Step – Daughter, Cathy Greenwood of Paramount; 18 Grandchildren; and 10 Great – Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Mary Ellen Mosler, his wife of 50 years and Daughter, Colleen Frees. Visitation will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, October 22, 2002, at Big Bear Mortuary Chapel in Big Bear City. Graveside service and interment will be held at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday October 23, 2002, at Riverside National Cemetery
