Marvin Milton Beisert

July 9, 1932 - April 11, 2009

Funeral services for Marvin Beisert, 76 of Conroe, Texas are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at Christ Lutheran Church in Loebau, Texas with Rev. David Quail officiating. Burial will follow in the Giddings City Cemetery in Giddings. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 12:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 7 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings. The Beisert family will be present for visitation from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday evening.

Mr. Beisert passed away Saturday afternoon at Trinity Care Center in Brenham.

Marvin Milton Beisert was born on July 9, 1932 in Lee County, Texas to Louis and Minnie (Hohle)Beisert. He was united in marriage to Charlene Rackel and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Beisert was a retired drywall contractor.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his daughter, Peggy Beisert; two brothers, Robert Beisert and Willie Beisert and 4 sisters, Corine Iselt, Frieda Schulz, Leona Schulz and Clara Deal.

Mr. Beisert is survived by his son, Timothy Beisert of Conroe; four brothers, Alvin & Ruth Beisert of Giddings, Ruben & Shirley Beisert of Houston, Alfred & Betty Beisert of Giddings and Ernest "Ernie" & Bernice Beisert of Lincoln; eight sisters, Grace Rackel of Lincoln, Gladys & Alfred Iselt of Lincoln, Elna & Gene Moerbe of Dime Box, Janette & Joe Benignus of Dime Box, Helen Beisert of Richmond, Enora Medack of Fedor, Esther Exner of Lincoln and Lorine Tatum of Lincoln; special friend, Rachel Jones as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
