Anthony Joseph Glueck, 49, of Chaffee, MO, died May 5, 2004, of injuries sustained in a traffic accident.
Born May 19, 1954, in Cape Girardeau, son of the late Joseph August and Marie Ida Menz Glueck, he was a farmer with Essner Farms in New Hamburg. A member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and St. Joseph Sodality in New Hamburg, he was also a member of Knights of Columbus Council 6420 in Scott City.
Survivors include: three daughters, Jessica Glueck, Ashley Glueck and Amber Glueck; four brothers, Franklin Glueck, Paul Glueck, Bill Glueck and Steve Glueck; two sisters, Pat Arnzen and Kathy Lange; and one grandchild. One brother preceded him in death.
Visitation was at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, where parish prayers were followed with Knights of Columbus prayers.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Lawrence Catholic Church with the Rev. Normand Varone officiating.
Burial followed in the St. Lawrence Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Tim Essner, Andrew Essner, Dustin Essner, Scott Arnzen, Norman Kluesner and Randy Kern.
