Mrs. Kloberdanz was born on April 24, 1923 to Philip and Eva (Devie) Schiebelbeim in Brighton.
On Jan. 21, 1941, she married George Kloberdanz in a traditional three-day German wedding, and the couple moved to Denver. In 1946 they moved to Sterling and farmed here until 1956. They then moved to Merino to farm, and in 1967 they returned to Sterling to farm their homestead, where she lived the remainder of her life. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and St.Anthony Altar and Rosary Society. She enjoyed her family, sewing, gardening, crocheting, cards and jigsaw puzzles.
Mrs. Kloberdanz is survived by five daughters, Lorraine Unrein and husband Paul of Merino, Marilyn Luft and husband Larry of Julesburg, Pat Sessions and husband Doug of Wray, and Kathy Schneider and husband Bob of LaSalle, and Lynette Froman and husband Britt of Sterling; a son, George Kloberdanz Jr. and wife Janet of Sterling; three sisters, Barb Neiman of Washington, Myrt Dunipace of Ohio, Leona Laurent of Colorado; one brother, Albert Schivelbein of Col orado; 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband George Kloberdanz on April 30, 1999.
