Sophie Graf, of Sebewaing, passed away December 11, 2010 at Scheurer Hospital longterm, Pigeon, Mi. at the advanced age of 102.
She was born, in Gospodjinci, Yugoslavia August 15, 1908, daughter of Michael Brunner, Sr. and Elisabetha Heckert.
Sophie and Konrad Graf, Sr. were united in marriage March 9, 1930 in Yugoslavia. Konrad preceded her in death September 26, 1984.
Sophie left Yugoslavia in 1943, during WWII, with her two sons, Konrad and Georg. They left their home by horse and wagon while planes were bombing close to their home. They traveled to Austria and lived there for two years, then after the war the displaced people were transferred to Germany. There she was reunited with her husband. Through a family member of the Buerker's, the Graf family came to America in 1952.
She is survived by one son Konrad (Alberta) Graf of Sebewaing, and one daughter-in-law, Dorothy Graf , and eight grandchildren and their children.
One son: Georg Graf, three sisters: Mary, Elisabetha, and Margret, four brothers: Johann, Josef, Michael, and Henry Brunner all preceded her in death.
Visitation is Monday, December 13, 2010 from 1-8pm at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home, Sebewaing.

Funeral services are 11am, Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Juengel Mellendorf Funeral Home. Pastor Mayhew officiating, with burial taking place in New Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery.
