Marcus Reinhold Larson, the son of Richard and Maren (Larsen) Larson was born in Harlan, Iowa on March 19, 1887. Marcus grew to manhood in his birth town and moved with the family to Boyd County, Nebraska in 1906.
He was united in marriage to Bessie Shaffer on May 10, 1911 in Boyd County, Nebraska and to this union were born daughters; Esther and Ellen.
Marcus moved from Nebraska and made his home in Missouri and is where he stayed until he was taken on July 14, 1964.
He was a brother to; Christena Larson Severns, John Alfred Larson, Louis Raymond Larson, Laura Matilda ( Larson) Abraham, Richard James Larson and Jennie Mae (Larson) Limmer McNulty.
Memorial service was conducted on July 18, with organist Myra Batson and the Rev. Don Sheppard officiating. Interment in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
