Adam Engraff, 82, of Boulder, a former Sterling resident, died Sunday, April 12,1987, at Boulder.
Rosary will be recited 7p.m. Tuesday at Tennant-Hettinger Funeral Home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 2 p.m. Wednesday from St. Anthony's Catholic Church, the Rev. Robert Reycraft the celebrant.
Burial will follow in Riverside cemetery.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Mr. Engraff was born May 5, 1905 in Husaren, Russia, the son of John and Elizabeth Baumgartner Engraff Sr., and came to the United States with the family in 1914, settling in the Sterling area.
Adam Engraff was married, Nov. 24, 1931 in Sterling, to Katherine Gartner. She died Feb. 23, 1970.
He worked for the Chicago, Burlington and Qurncy Railroad (now Burlington Northern) from 1938 until retiring in 1962, moving to Boulder in 1985 to live with his son.
Mr. Engraff was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
He is survived by three daughters, Florence Rizzolo, Marie Monica Volcic and Katherine Mary Mildenberger all of Sterling; three sons, Michael L. Engraff of Fleming, John A. Engraff of Coronado,Calif., and Sadhna Singh Khalsa of Boulder; a sister, Clara Graber of
Sterling; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Tennant-Hettinger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
