Clarence H. Eiben, 94, of Tuscola passed away at 1:30 p.m. Monday (Nov. 28, 2011) at Heartland Health Care Center, Champaign.

He was born Nov. 8, 1917 in Danforth to Frank and Anna Schroeder Eiben.

He married Hettie Millsaps McLemore on Sept. 2, 1958. She preceded him in death on March 3, 2003.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; one stepson, Billy J. McLemore and one brother, Henry Eiben.

Survivors include one son, Warner (Cindy) Eiben of Tuscola; one stepson, Archie McLemore of Anderson, Indiana; three daughters, Peggy Ann Thompson of Florida, Linda Joan Kirk of Herscher and Christina Jaros of Morris; one stepdaughter, Priscilla White of Jacksonville, Florida; 22 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

He served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II in Eastern Europe.
