Mr. Klocke was born Oct. 29, 1914 at Carroll County, Iowa, in 1916 he moved with his family to North Dakota an settled on a farm near New Rockford, where he grew up and attended school. He served in the Army during WW II. He returned to the New Rockford area, where he farmed. He married Ramona Lies on Oct. 28, 1948 at New Rockford. They farmed in the New Rockford area until they moved to the Sykeston, ND area in 1961. They retired in 1981 and moved to Fessenden ND.
