Verna Louise (Nordin) Carlson, 85 , passed away November 10 at Green Acres Country Care Center.
Verna, daughter of Charles and Minnie Nordin, is survived by her husband of 62 years, Clifford; son Dale (Joyce), Carlson and their children Kim, Mitchell and Matthew; daughter Lois (Russell) Swanson and children Mark, Brenda and Rachel; daughter Cindy (Mark) Dilling and their daughter Amy; and six great grandchildren.
Verna was born July 5, 1912 in Spring Lake and grew up in that area. She was a homemaker who loved gardening and flowers. She also worked for a time at Larson's Fairway, Nelson's Market and at North Branch Hardware.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, Nov. 13, at 11a.m. at Trinity Lutheran, Church, North Branch.
