Daniel Vincent ROSE, 45, died Sunday afternoon at Veterans' hospital in Long Beach, Cal., where he had been admitted two hours previously. He was residing in Long Beach at the time of his death. Born Jan. 22, 1912, in Findlay, Ill., he was the son of Daniel T. and Reta WRIGHT ROSE. He was married to Rose Helen MURPHY, and was employed as an electrician on construction projects. Mr. Rose was a member of the Masonic lodge at Pontiac, Mich. Surviving are his wife, at home; two sons, Tom and Carl [ROSE], both of Rochester; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Doris Ann) GOUDY, LaSalle, Ill., and Mrs. Nicholas (Nancy) KEEL, Bloomington; his mother, Rochester; three step-children, Mrs. Bud LITTERAL, Colorado Margie and Sue ROSE, both at home; six grandchildren; two brothers, Murphy [ROSE], Rochester, and Martin [ROSE], Boston, Mass.; and one sister, Miss Virginia ROSE, LaPort. One brother, Capt., Robert ROSE, died in 1944 and his father died in 1957. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The Zimmerman Brothers funeral home is in charge.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home for Daniel [Vincent] ROSE, who died last Sunday at Veterans' hospital in Long Beach Cal. The Rev. Ralph BURRIS of the Rochester Church of Christ will officiate, assisted by the American Legion Post. Burial will be in the Richland Center I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
