After a long and hard fought battle with cancer, Our "Grandma: Lydia has gone to be with God as her beloved father and mother before her. For many years "Grandma" worked side by side with Dad as they made their life on the family farm, somehow finding the time to raise four children and endless summers of grandchildren.
Grandma;s memory will be cherished by all who encountered her unconditinal love of all living things. As time passes and we think back, the realization that every thought and memory of our grandmother and friend is a seed she has planted in the garden of each of our lives. As we have all grown to love her, so her love grows within us each day.
