Kyle Michael Kilgore, 31, died Sunday, May 17, 2009.
Service: 10:30 a.m. Friday in Bear Creek Cemetery in Euless. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home, where a vigil service will begin at 7 p.m.
Kyle Michael was born Feb. 10, 1978, in Arlington. He was a graduate of Sherman High School and the University of North Texas, where he planned to pursue a master's degree.
An accomplished musician, Kyle had a beautiful voice and enjoyed playing guitar and bass. He was a friend to all, loved his family and will be remembered for his kind and gentle heart. He also loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping and fishing.
Kyle was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Debbie Sue Kilgore; and uncle, Lonnie "Cougar" Kilgore.
Survivors: His mother, Cathryn Annette Schmidt; father, Richard Michael Kilgore and his wife, Barbara; siblings, Charlie Richard Kilgore and his fiancee, Amanda Howard, Tony Kilgore and his wife, Heather, and Audra Gilbreath and her husband, Sean; paternal grandfather, Lonnie Kilgore and his wife, Bettie; maternal grandparents, Joanne and Howard Schmidt; niece and nephews, Tara, Luke and Ben; aunts and uncles, Emily Ormand, Joseph Schmidt, Shirley Kimble, DeeAnn Allen and her husband, Ronnie, Darla Stewart and her husband, Rocky, and Lori Pratt and her husband, Don; cousins; and extended family members.
