She was a daughter of Frederick and Mahala (Griesinger) Katter. On Feb 23, 1941, she married Emmett Shoup, Sr., who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Emmett Jr.,(Sandi), St. Marys, and Darrell (Judy) and Charles (Ann), all Wapakoneta; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law and five sisters-in-law.
Deceased are two grandsons, Matthew and Steven Shoup, a great grandson, Adam Pedigo; two brothers, John and an infant; and three sisters, Opal (Bob) Crusie, Margaret (Arlin) Schmidt, and Clara (Howard) Debell.
A homemaker, she had worked at United Buff and Supply Co., Wapakoneta. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Moulton. Her hobbies included music, painting, and traveling. She dearly loved her family and friends.
Funeral services will be at the church, with Pastor Joy Miller officiating.
