Harry Tobias Schroeder, 91, of Gilman, formerly of Danforth, died Tuesday (March 3, 1998) at the Gilman Nursing Home, Gilman.
Harry was born Sept. 13, 1906 in Danforth, the son of Henry Albers and Gretke ''Lena'' Focken Schroeder.

His wife, the former Clara Dexter, whom he married July 18, 1930 in Danforth, died Dec. 9, 1996.
Surviving are one son, David and Clara Schroeder of Kankakee; one daughter, Jane Rademacher of Kansas City, Kan.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Della Coordes of Danforth.
Deceased are five sisters, Kate Ewerts, Margaret Schriefer, Minnie Parbs, Anna Eiben and Theresa Johnson; and three brothers, Benjamin, Fred and Tobias Schroeder.

Mr. Schroeder retired in 1968 from farming.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the Redenius Funeral Home in Gilman and from 10 a.m. Saturday until the 11 a.m. services at the Danforth Reformed Church. The Rev. Donald J. MacDonald III will officiate.
Burial will be in Danforth Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Danforth Reformed Church, where he was a member.
He was a member of the Danforth Reformed Brotherhood; the Jolly Eight Club and Ford-Iroquois Farm Bureau.
