HERMAN ANGERT OF CALIFORNIA DIES
Herman Angert, 63, native of Marietta and member of one of the old families here, died at Agnew, Cal., on Tuesday following illness with heart trouble. News of his death is received here by his brother, Edwin C. Angert of 202 Scammel Street. Funeral services are scheduled to be held at Agnew on Friday and interment will be made in California.
He was the son of the late Herman and Lucinda Lehnhardt Angert. He was born in Marietta on Christmas Day in 1875. He was graduated from Marietta High School with the class of 1896, and then located at Cleveland. In 1907, he went to Montana where he was connected with a mining company for a time. He was located in California since 1909 and for many years was employed with the commissary department of the California state hospital at Agnew. He had also been located at San Jose with a Ford automobile agency.
Surviving are his brothers and sisters, Louis L. Angert of Neihart, Mont., William H. Angert of Chicago, Ill., Mrs. Ella Angert Galbraith, wife of H.K. Galbraith of Chicago, Ill., E.C. Angert of Marietta, Mrs. Mary Angert Walker, wife of Francis Walker of Great Falls, Mont., and Ralph Angert of Chillicothe.
Mrs. Walker was with her brother during his last illness.
