Burial will be in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Wilson's Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
She died Tuesday, June 13, 2000, at Covenant Medical Center.
She was born Nov. 9, 1907, in Kerns City. She moved to Lubbock in 1945. She married Antonio Ortega on March 30, 1930, in Mason. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Crusillistas.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Daniel and Felix, both of Lubbock; a daughter, Josephine Lucero of Portland, Ore.; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
